Where is the Silver Creek Valley Country Club community?

This community of 1550 homes is located in the eastern foothills of the Evergreen area of San Jose, California. We are a bedroom community of the Silicon Valley high tech corridor between San Francisco to the north and San Jose to the south. The main entrance of our gated community is located 3 miles east of Highway 101 on Silver Creek Valley Road, just over the top of the hill at the stop light. When you turn right into the gate you will be entering Country Club Parkway.

How do I get in the gates to visit residents or attend a club event?

Visiting Residents: If you are visiting residents at their home or joining them at an event, ask them to leave your name at the Main Gate or the Courtside Gate, depending on where they want you to enter.

Visiting Residents in the Masters neighborhood: If you are visiting residents of the Masters neighborhood, you need to enter the Masters Gate. There you need to use the driver side phone to dial the resident’s phone number when you arrive at the gate, for them to buzz open the gate. Get directions from Google or Mapquest to the resident’s address.

Attending Sponsored Events: If you are attending a sponsored event at the clubhouse, like a wedding party or golf tournament, the sponsor should provide the gate a list of attendees who are permitted entry to the Main Gate. If you are attending a tennis match or a swim event, find out from the sponsor whether they have left your name at the Main Gate or at the Courtside Gate for entry.

Attending Club Events: Call the club at 408-239-5888 and let them know what event you are attending and ask them to leave your name at the Main Gate.

How do I get business access to enter the community on my own?

How do I find my way around the community?

• There is only one main street in Silver Creek that leads from the front gate to the back gate, and that is Country Club Drive. As long as you stay on that street when you enter or once you get back to that street when you are leaving, you will eventually reach one entrance gate or the other, and that road will take you to all secondary roads within the gates.
• There is only one area that cannot be reached by coming in the Main Gate or the Courtside Gate, and that is the Masters area, which you must enter through the Masters Gate, which is on Silver Ridge Drive off of Farnsworth Drive. It is advisable to get directions to your destination from the person you are visiting or from Mapquest or Google for specific instructions on getting through that gate. You must use the phone at that gate to call your party for gate entrance.

What do I need to know about traffic and parking rules?

All regular city traffic laws are enforced on community streets by San Jose City Police. “No Parking” signs are enforced, and no overnight street parking is allowed without pre-approval by notification to the Main Gate.
